The Shortlist for the Stockport Business Awards 2015 has been announced!

Trolex Engineering have been shortlisted in 3 categories; Business of the Year, The Award for Developing Young People and Best International Trade Company.

The first slip ring which we developed for use in a winch application was what is known today as our TX4702.  Ordered in August 1982 by our customer Expro North Sea, the unit comprised of 8 rings and was given a Baseefa Certificate of Conformity No Ex 821417 to comply with BS5501: Part 1: 1977 EN50 014 and BS 5501: Part 5: 1977 EN50 018, in January 1983.

Initially called product 475, the product became the TX4700 Series in February 1988, and maintains that today.  The product has a cast aluminum housing for use in rugged environments and is certified for both ATEX and IECEx applications.
