Past, Present and Future

Big Enough to Deliver, Small Enough to Care
Trolex Engineering have been trading since 1975, during which has specialised in the design and manufacture of electro-mechanical machinery. We pioneered the first flameproof electrical slip ring unit for pedestal cranes in oil and gas exploration.
We are fully committed through our ISO9001:2015 Quality and Management systems to providing sound solutions in the most demanding environments of underground mining, offshore, petrochemical, water treatment, materials and food handling and general industries. Maintaining a licence to produce equipment for use in these hazardous areas of underground and offshore mining further enhances our quality.
Trolex Engineering have an extensive workshop and assembly bays with handling capacity up to 3 tonnes. Our site includes an 1,550m2 workshop enabling us to have the capacity to carry out larger projects effectively.
Our precision engineering capability and capacity to handle large components ensures that we meet the demands of modern mechanical engineering.
In order to continue this innovation and commitment, we feel it is important to develop existing staff and employ and train new staff to invest in the future sustainable development of the company, as our average length of service is 13 years, with 1 in 3 staff who have been here for more than 20 years! We have an apprenticeship scheme, covering a range of courses, to work alongside long-service staff and use their skills and knowledge to help develop their future careers.
Trolex Engineering are Members of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce. Our offices and workshops are ideally located close to the main motorway and rail networks and only five miles from Manchester Airport.
