Marine - Offshore
|
|

Hydraulically driven Cable Reeling Machines for use in a hazardous area
above the splash zone of offshore vessels have been designed, built and
commissioned offshore by Trolex engineers. Primarily for emergency supplies
onboard an FPSO, the reeling machines, located side by side, operate to
counter the constant rotations caused by the tide and weather as the vessel
maintains its position above the well. The electrical swivels, one for
power and one for signals, and the hydraulic power pack all meeting the
EN50 requirement for equipment operating in hazardous zones.
